Phil Gaiser

Instructional Designer, Online Learning and Support Services

Education has always been an important aspect of my life. Education has the potential to be the best part of someone’s upbringing. I originally thought that the classroom was the place that I would spend the rest of my life. However, after going through Grad School, I’m not so sure anymore.

Instructional Design struck me as something different. I honestly had no idea what is was when I went into Grad School. The more I learned about it though the more I wanted to know about it and pursue it. Instructional Design and Technology is a fascinating field in my eyes. It is literally a field that is always growing and always changing.

Being a part of it has been a very rewarding experience. I love working in the field and I haven’t had a day of work yet where I felt like I was going to ‘work’ in some office. I hope that my knowledge and experiences grow in the future. I also hope that wherever I end up can appreciate the field as much as I do.
