Borrow a USFSP Library Laptop

USF St Petersburg students can borrow a laptop from the Nelson Poynter Memorial library by:

  • USF St Petersburg  faculty and students can request print books from the USF Libraries to be mailed to their home address
  • To request book chapters and journal articles to be scanned, submit requests to our Pull Service Form
  • Visit our Access to USF Libraries Print Collections page for more information
  • The exterior library book drop is still open for faculty and students who wish to return their materials
  • Call (727-873-4405) or Email your questions on USF St Petersburg library borrowing, returns, fines, and other Circulation concerns

Summer Textbooks

Visit our Textbook Guide to access to in ebook or print format. While this collection is comprehensive, we cannot provide access to all course materials

  • Ebook Textbooks are listed with the link directly to the electronic copy
  • Print books are listed if a physically copy is located in the USFSP library.  

Scanned copies of select chapters from USFSP print textbooks are available to instructors only. 

  • To request scanned textbook chapters, please complete a Course Reserve Scanning Form.
  • Scanned files made available for your professor to upload in their Canvas course
  • Due to copyright laws, the USFSP library is unable to scan in an entire course textbook.  For more information about your fair use rights and copyright questions, please visit:
